I collaborated with a group of children ages 7-12 from the Albany Free School to create a docent tour of my MFA thesis show. I modified projects from the 3-d design course I was teaching at University at Albany to engage the children and to help us develop the language to talk about contemporary art. At every turn the children were way ahead of me. They prepared questions and interviewed the artists during a studio visit on campus.
During the opening night of the MFA thesis show the children were available to offer the public their unique take on the artworks.
